Home educated students are invited to join in the upcoming free community event for primary school children - the Wanneroo Joondalup Tee Ball Club ('WJTBC') 'Come & Try Day' on Saturday 21 August 2021 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Percy Doyle Reserve, Duncraig, Western Australia. BBQ and Canteen food will be available.
Tee Ball is a fantastic, summer season sport that builds friendships and co-ordination, but most importantly is about kids getting involved and having fun! Organised activities involving sports, music or education have proven to be beneficial to a child’s physical, cognitive, cultural and social development.
As a Club, we hope to see 500+ tee ballers on Saturday mornings from 16 October 2021 - 26 February 2022 sharing the love of this awesome game together, as we have done for the last 46 seasons. Many parents may remember playing Tee Ball as a child. Parent involvement is a vital part of running our club. Research shows that healthy family relationships can reduce the chances of a child or teenager experiencing mental health issues.
Should you wish to discuss the possibility of a Wanneroo Joondalup Tee Ball Club accredited Coach to attend a gathering of home school students for an information and/or training and/or game session, please email Kim Burns secretary@wjtbc.org.au
