Etching and nature exploration workshop with artist Jake Holmes for youth and young adults aged 15-25 years in Tea Tree Gully SA.
As part of this October’s Mental Health month, Gallery 1855 (Council’s community arts facility in Tea Tree Gully at 2 Haines Road Tea Tree Gully) are offering a 2-part workshop for youth and young adults aged 15 – 25 years. It is facilitated by artist Jake Holmes who has experience working with young people and also works in the arts-in-health sector.
About the workshop:
Over two sessions Jake offers dry point etching guidance underpinned by a mindful and immersive exploration of the natural environment surrounding Gallery 1855.
Participants will explore their own place in nature and their community while learning to etch and make prints using Jake's printing press. Depending on the amount of time, Jake may also incorporate some collagraph printmaking as well. This workshop supports personal well-being, renewal and resilience through art making.
The cost to the participant is $30 for both sessions and participants are expected to commit to both sessions to achieve the best outcomes.
All materials are provided and resulting prints will be shown on the gallery page on the CTTG website.
The Bog insights were valuable and the writing style kept me engaged. I turned to Rapid Assignment Help for SPSS Assignment Help and it was a lifesaver! As someone with limited statistical knowledge, I appreciated how the team made complex topics clear. Unlike other Assignment Writing Service UK providers, they didn’t just hand over completed work; they explained it thoroughly, so I actually learned how to interpret SPSS output on my own. I definitely gained more confidence in my data analysis skills, and the service really contributed to my success in class. For anyone who needs reliable help with SPSS, this is a top choice.
Nature Inspired Printmaking beautifully combines art and the natural world, offering a unique creative outlet. When engaging in this process, it's crucial to outline the main points of the health and safety policies and procedures agreed with the employer to ensure a safe working environment. This includes proper handling of tools, safe disposal of materials, and the use of protective gear to prevent accidents and exposure to harmful substances.
